Starting from December 1, 2026, the reporting, investigation, and registration of work-related accidents will be carried out through the "Xavfsiz mehnat" system using artificial intelligence. The new rules also define the procedure for special investigation and compensation for damage to the health of employees.
What to do in the event of an accident at an enterprise
By Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 505 dated September 22, 2026, the procedure for investigating and registering work-related accidents, as well as compensating for the damage caused, has been approved.
The document approves:
Starting from December 1, 2026, the reporting, investigation, and registration of occupational accidents will be carried out using the "Xavfsiz mehnat" electronic information system based on artificial intelligence.
In the event of an accident, the employer is obliged to send a notification through the electronic information system within 24 hours:
Minor accidents are investigated by a commission established by order of the employer.
The following accidents are subject to a special investigation:
The employer is obliged to compensate the employee for damage caused to their health as a result of an occupational injury and/or occupational disease, unless they prove that the damage was not caused through their fault.
In the event of harm to the employee's health, the victim is paid compensation for lost wages (income) received or which could have been received by the victim.
