A new program against harassment and violence in the workplace has been adopted
In Uzbekistan, a program to ensure a safe and respect-based working environment in enterprises and organizations will be introduced step-by-step. By December 1, 2026, a special portal will be launched to receive online appeals regarding cases of harassment and violence in the workplace.

The President's Resolution No. PP-345 of September 21, 2026, "On measures to ensure a safe and respectful working environment in the field of labor" was adopted.
According to the resolution, a program to ensure a safe and respectful working environment will be gradually introduced in state bodies and organizations, legal entities with a state share in the authorized capital of at least 50 percent, and enterprises with their share of 50 percent or more.
This program will also cover other enterprises, organizations, and institutions, regardless of their form of ownership.
By December 1, 2026, the information portal "Safe and Respectful Working Environment" will be launched for state bodies and organizations within the information systems of the Management Efficiency Agency.
Through the portal, using information and communication tools, it will be possible to submit online applications regarding cases of harassment and violence in the workplace.
If the harassment or violence was committed by the employee responsible for the portal, their direct supervisor, or another official of the organization, the application will be automatically forwarded to the higher authority.
The processes of investigating applications regarding harassment and violence, collecting evidence, preparing conclusions, exchanging information, and communication will also be carried out through the portal.
Information on the conducted investigations, their results, measures taken, and changes to these decisions will be stored on the portal. Their destruction is not permitted.
If signs of an administrative offense or a crime are detected in the application, it will be sent to the competent authority through the "112" single dispatch service in the manner prescribed by law.
The Management Efficiency Agency has been granted the authority to monitor the precise and uniform implementation of the program's requirements in state bodies and organizations through the portal.
During the monitoring process, the Agency will have the right to submit representations for the elimination of identified violations, which are mandatory for consideration.
