The news that an employee on vacation at the Water Supply Service state institution in the Uzun district of Surkhandarya region was forcibly called to work and treated in a threatening manner caused widespread discussion on social networks.
This case was thoroughly investigated by the State Labor Inspectorate. As a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that the employee was involved in work without his consent during the legal vacation period, that is, forced labor was allowed.
In connection with the identified violation, administrative liability was applied to the head of the institution under Article 51 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
