The head of state emphasized that today, conditions have been created for children to study, explore, develop, and live with big dreams.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during a meeting with teachers and mentors, recalled his school years and said that at that time, students were mobilized for cotton harvesting for 4–5 months every year.
"I received an 11-year school certificate. But I did not study for a full 11 years. I went to school, but every year I was in the cotton fields for 4–5 months," the president said.
The head of state emphasized that all conditions have been created for children to study, research, develop, and live with big dreams.
"The development of education is the most important link in building the New Uzbekistan," the president said.
Over the past ten years, kindergartens with 1.8 million places and schools with 1.5 million places were built, and more than 10,000 kindergartens and schools were brought to a modern state.
The head of state particularly noted that in education, along with buildings and conditions, content, above all, is of decisive importance.
"We returned our children from the cotton field to the school desk, and teachers to the educational process," he said, speaking about the greatest result of the reforms.
Every child must study, research, develop, and live with big dreams. And for these dreams to come true, the best textbooks, strong and qualified teachers are needed.
"Whatever we give to a child today, we will see its result in the future of the country tomorrow," the president said.
