Uzbeks will have to pay the visa fee for travel to Thailand in Moscow.

**Uzbek citizens will have to pay the visa fee for Thailand in Moscow**

Starting September 15, 2026, citizens of Uzbekistan will be required to obtain an entry visa in advance to travel to Thailand. After completing the online application, the visa fee will be paid in person at the Thai Embassy in Moscow.

These changes are due to the Thai government's decision to abolish the visa-free regime for citizens of several countries, including Uzbekistan. The official document states that this measure is aimed at harmonizing migration regulations with the current situation, strengthening national security, and streamlining the management of tourist flows.

Previously, citizens of Uzbekistan could stay in Thailand visa-free for up to 60 days.

To obtain a visa, you will need to complete an online application on the official Thai e-visa portal.
