Uzbeks spent 7 trillion soums on hairdressing salons and barbershops in 6 months
The highest rate among regions was recorded in Tashkent city.

The population of Uzbekistan spent a total of 7.03 trillion soums on hairdressing and beauty salon services in the first six months of this year. This information was published by the National Statistics Committee.
When analyzed by region, the largest expenditure falls on the city of Tashkent. The capital spent 1.2 trillion soums on these services, which is almost one-sixth of the total figure for the republic.
Next in line are Fergana region (986.7 billion soums), Samarkand region (838.7 billion soums), Namangan region (745.5 billion soums) and Tashkent region (729.2 billion soums).
In Andijan region, the volume of hairdressing and beauty salon services amounted to 461.4 billion soums, while in Kashkadarya region this figure reached 440.1 billion soums.
Services worth 342.3 billion soums were provided in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 340.4 billion soums in the Khorezm region, and 240.7 billion soums in the Bukhara region.
The volume of services in Surkhandarya region amounted to 234.7 billion soums, in Navoi region - 220.9 billion soums, in Jizzakh region - 148.1 billion soums, and in Syrdarya region - 100.6 billion soums.
