Tashkent retains leadership in the volume of construction work

In the first half of 2026, the volume of construction work in Uzbekistan reached 192 trillion soums. The highest figure was recorded in the city of Tashkent.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, the total volume of construction work carried out in Uzbekistan during January-June 2026 reached 192.0 trillion soums.

During this period, Tashkent city did not lose its leadership, recording the highest figure with construction work worth 61.2 trillion soums. Tashkent region took second place with 18.8 trillion soums, while Fergana region took third place with 12.1 trillion soums.

The five regions with the most construction work were also included in the top five, with Bukhara region with 10.7 trillion soums and Samarkand region with 9.9 trillion soums.

The volume of construction work in Kashkadarya region amounted to 9.4 trillion soums, in Andijan region - 9.0 trillion soums, in Navoi region - 8.6 trillion soums, in Khorezm region - 8.5 trillion soums, and in Namangan region - 8.4 trillion soums.

During the reporting period, construction work worth 7.9 trillion soums was carried out in Surkhandarya region, 6.6 trillion soums in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 4.8 trillion soums in Jizzakh region, and 3.7 trillion soums in Syrdarya region.
