Uzbekistan's tour operators will have their VAT for services rendered to foreign tourists waived.

Starting January 1 of next year, Uzbek tour operators serving foreign tourists will be exempt from VAT, as a zero rate will apply to their services.
Furthermore, the government has extended a number of incentives for the tourism sector. Subsidies for the construction of three-, four-, and five-star hotels will be available until January 1, 2029.
For hotels and other accommodation facilities, reduced land and property tax rates will be in effect until January 1, 2030, with a coefficient of 0.1 applied.
Buses, electric buses, and minibuses imported for tourism purposes will be exempt from customs duties until January 1, 2028. The requirement to provide a foreign company's opinion to confirm a hotel's star rating when receiving a subsidy has also been waived.
It was previously reported that Uzbekistan was among the top five countries in the world for independent travel.
