Hotel benefits extended
The period for granting subsidies for the construction of three, four and five-star hotels will be extended for another two years. The practice of requiring a foreign company's opinion when approving a hotel's "star" for subsidies will be abolished. The privilege of paying land and property tax at a 10-fold lower rate for hotels will be extended until 2030. The import of tourist buses will be exempted from disposal fees.

Hotel concessions extended
Since the beginning of the year, 8 million foreign tourists have visited Uzbekistan, and their stay in the country has increased to 8 days. Speaking about this, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed the need for reforms in the tourism sector to be more reflected in the incomes of the population.
It was announced during a dialogue with entrepreneurs that $50 million will be allocated for the construction, reconstruction and equipment of hotels. Entrepreneurs will be provided with 16% loans in national currency for a period of 10 years.

Services provided by tour operators to foreign tourists will be treated as exports and exempt from value-added tax.
The customs exemption for the import of tourist buses, electric buses and minibuses will be extended for another year. The disposal fee for such vehicles will also not be charged.
