Uzbekistanis returning from abroad will be able to receive grants of up to 60 million soums
A grant competition has been announced for citizens who worked abroad and returned to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Migration Agency.
The competition is being conducted by the agency in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration, with financial support from the Ministry of Justice of Sweden.
Citizens who worked abroad and returned to Uzbekistan in 2025–2026 can participate. The active participation of women is specifically supported.
In the competition, priority will be given to a clear and well-founded business development idea, the potential to create new jobs, as well as the sustainability and efficiency of an existing business.
Winners will be able to receive a grant of up to 60 million soums for the development of their business.
Applications are accepted until September 21.
Earlier, it became known that 27 citizens who violated the migration laws of Sweden and Poland were returned to Uzbekistan.
