Uzbekistan has missed deadlines for the delivery of school equipment worth 350 billion soums.

Here's a rewritten version of the news story in Russian:

**Delays in school equipment deliveries worth 350 billion soums in Uzbekistan**

By the end of August of this year, not a single one of the 6,300 planned interactive whiteboards had been delivered to public schools in Uzbekistan. The delivery of 1,000 new computer labs is also delayed. This issue was raised by MP Zukhriddin Mavlonov at a meeting of the Legislative Chamber. He demanded an explanation from the relevant agency as to why the 350 billion soums allocated from the budget had not been spent by the start of the school year.

The Ministry of Preschool and School Education attributed the delay to bureaucratic procedures and a review of procurement volumes. Ministry head Ezoza Karimova clarified that the project parameters had to be adjusted during implementation: after an expert review, a decision was made to increase the number of computer sets to 1,350, which led to a delay in the tender announcement. Regarding electronic boards, there was a setback: the first tender, held in July, was declared invalid, and the procurement process had to be restarted on August 10.

Despite this, the ministry expects to complete all necessary procedures well ahead of the established annual deadline. According to Ezoza Karimova, all equipment is planned to be delivered to schools by the end of October.

Earlier, the National Agency for Education Quality Assurance denied rumors that schools were unofficially limiting teachers' teaching load to 20 hours in order to create additional vacancies for graduates of pedagogical universities.
