On September 23, at the ongoing Aichi–Nagoya–2026 Asian Games in Japan, the delegation of Uzbekistan was awarded 4 bronze medals.

**Fencing**

In the women's foil competition, Polina Volobuyeva reached the semifinals and won a bronze medal.

**Wushu**

In the -56 kg weight category of the Sanda program, Saydullo Abdurashidov lost to a representative of China in the semifinals and took the bronze medal.

Doniyor Turgʻunboyev, who competed in the -75 kg weight category, also reached the semifinals. He lost to a representative of Iran in the fight for a place in the final and claimed a bronze medal.

**Historic result in Esports**

For the first time in the history of the Asian Games, the delegation of Uzbekistan won a medal in esports. Abubakr Iminjanov and Farruh Mirhamidov, who participated in the football program, reached the semifinals and were awarded bronze medals.

**Defeats in team sports**

3×3 basketball – the women's national team of Uzbekistan lost to Japan with a score of 11:19.

Water polo – the women's national team lost to Thailand in a match with a score of 10:16.

Handball – the women's national team of Uzbekistan lost to South Korea in a match with a score of 13:43.

Field hockey – the women's national team of Uzbekistan suffered a defeat against Japan with a score of 1:7.
