Uzbekistan and Korea have formed a portfolio of 120 projects worth billions of dollars

Uzbekistan and South Korea have formed a portfolio of 120 projects with a total value of about 4 billion dollars.

The new initiatives were discussed within the framework of the Uzbek-Korean business forum in Seoul, with the participation of the President of Uzbekistan. The forum was attended by more than 300 representatives of government agencies and businesses from both countries, including heads of large industrial enterprises, trading companies, and financial organizations.

The main emphasis was placed on expanding investment and technological cooperation. Uzbekistan proposed combining its own resource base, Korean technologies, and the capital of companies from both countries to launch new production facilities and joint projects.

Promising areas cover industry, energy, transport infrastructure, digital technologies, microelectronics, biotechnology, and other fields. Uzbekistan also declared its readiness to create the necessary conditions for the implementation of each project.

It was also noted that Uzbekistan and South Korea agreed to elevate their special strategic partnership to a new level.
