Uzbekistan and Alfit discussed the production of phytoproducts
Representatives of the Yakkabag district and the Alfit company discussed the joint production of medicinal herbal products.

Uzbekistan and the Russian company Alfit held talks on potential cooperation in the production of herbal products. The online meeting was organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan and brought together representatives of the Yakkabag District Administration of the Kashkadarya Region, the regional administration, and the management of Alfit in Russia's Altai Krai, according to Dunyo News Agency.
The main topic of discussion was the prospects for joint production of medicinal herbal products. Alfit is known for its wide range of over 350 herbal products, including encapsulated herbal teas, plant extracts, specialized cosmetics, and confectionery, including sugar-free options.
During the discussion, the participants emphasized the importance of expanding the presence of high-tech herbal products in the Uzbek market, particularly those produced in the Altai Krai.
Alfit representatives expressed interest in establishing partnerships with Uzbek companies to produce medicinal products, including herbal medicines, as well as food and personal care products.
The Uzbek side, in turn, confirmed its willingness to cooperate with Alfit and expressed its willingness to consider options for joint production using medicinal herbs grown in the Yakkabag district.
Following online negotiations, an agreement was reached to organize a visit by an Alfit representative to the Yakkabag district. During this visit, the Russian company's representative will have the opportunity to personally familiarize themselves with the region's production capabilities and natural resources.
