Uzbekistan and ADVANCED agreed to develop pharmaceutical production

The Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan and ADVANCED signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Uzbekistan and ADVANCED reached an agreement to develop pharmaceutical production.

On August 20, Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, met with representatives of the Russian company ADVANCED, founded by Indian entrepreneur Rajesh Sharma.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing pharmaceutical production in Uzbekistan, according to the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry.

During the talks, prospects for developing pharmaceutical production, localizing medicines, and transferring advanced technologies were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the creation of new production capacities and the development of research and development (R&D).

The parties also discussed expanding the range of pharmaceutical products, introducing modern technologies into production processes, and manufacturing products that meet international quality standards.

ADVANCED representatives were provided with information on the potential for establishing pharmaceutical production in Uzbekistan, plans for regional development, and the conditions created for the implementation of investment projects. The signed memorandum provides for cooperation in the development of pharmaceutical production, product localization, technology transfer, and the implementation of modern pharmaceutical solutions.
