Users will be able to check social media accounts for extremist content

A new service called "Banned Channels" has been launched on the interactive services portal MY.SUD.UZ, providing citizens with access to information about internet resources recognized as extremist in Uzbekistan.

Using this service, users can view a list of internet sources containing ideas of religious extremism, terrorism, and fanaticism. By decision of the Supreme Court, the import, production, storage, distribution, and demonstration of these materials are prohibited on the territory of the republic.

The platform allows users to search for banned resources and channels, sorted by various social networks and services, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, and other platforms. As of July 13, 1,882 internet sources have been included in this list.
