Ukrainian drones attacked Russian regions. There are casualties

On the night of September 26, Ukrainian drones struck Russia's Rostov Oblast and Krasnodar Krai.

The head of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, said that a total of 30 drones were shot down over the region, and industrial facilities and residential buildings were damaged as a result of the attack.

Drones were recorded in the cities of Rostov-on-Don, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Novoshakhtinsk, Taganrog, and Azov, as well as in the Azov, Myasnikov, and Neklinov districts.

In the city of Azov, multi-story and private houses, industrial facilities, a school, a palace of culture, and cars were damaged. Four people were injured. Slyusar did not disclose other details of the incident.

Ukrainian monitoring channels wrote that the target of the strikes could have been the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant, which manufactures products for the defense industry.

In Krasnodar Krai, fires broke out at two enterprises in the Seversky district as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack. This was announced by the head of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev.

"Unfortunately, there are dead," he wrote on social networks. Kondratyev did not provide the number of victims or other details of the incident. Later, the operational headquarters reported that three people had died.

Images circulated on social networks showing fire rising from the Ilsky oil refinery in Krasnodar after the drone attack.

On September 25, Russia struck an office building in Kyiv's Solomyanskyi district with a drone. At least five people, including a teenager, were killed in the attack.
