Two Uzbeks assisted in Turkey

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul assisted two citizens who found themselves in difficult circumstances in Turkey in returning home.

Two Uzbek citizens who found themselves in a difficult situation in Turkey were provided with assistance. This was reported by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul provided assistance to two of our compatriots who were left in difficult socio-financial conditions and helped them return to Uzbekistan.

During the study of the situation, it was revealed that the citizens had problems with their personal documents. They were left without identity documents due to the fact that they had given their civil passports to third parties.

With the support of the Migration Agency, these citizens were provided with the necessary consular and organizational assistance. They were also assisted in purchasing air tickets to return to Uzbekistan.

The Consulate General urged citizens of Uzbekistan not to give their civil passports to other persons, to keep them carefully and to use them only for legitimate purposes.
