The two-month-old baby of an Uzbek woman who violated Russian migration laws was taken into custody and placed in a rehabilitation center in Novosibirsk. After the intervention of Uzbek diplomats, the child was returned to its mother, and they were brought to Tashkent.

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk helped an Uzbek woman and her two-month-old child return to Uzbekistan, who were in a difficult situation. This was reported by the Dunyo news agency.
According to the report, an Uzbek citizen violated Russian migration legislation. As a result, her two-month-old baby was taken into custody and placed in the Rassvet children and adolescents rehabilitation center in Novosibirsk.
After studying the situation, the Consulate General took the necessary measures to return the mother and child to Uzbekistan. Diplomats held negotiations with representatives of the temporary detention center for foreign citizens and the rehabilitation center where the child was placed.
As a result of the measures taken, the necessary certificates were issued for the mother and child to return to Uzbekistan. After that, representatives of the Consulate General took the two-month-old baby from the rehabilitation center and handed it over to her mother, who was waiting for her at the Novosibirsk airport.
The mother and child were returned to Tashkent on a Russian airline flight on August 28.
