Since M.M. and her children did not have documents confirming their identity and giving them the right to leave the country, she was being held in a temporary detention center for foreign citizens in Russia, and her children were being held in a children's social shelter.
Uzbek citizen M.M. and her six children, who found themselves in a difficult situation in St. Petersburg, were returned to Uzbekistan.
Diplomats of the Consulate General, in cooperation with representatives of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, provided assistance to M.M. and her children.
Previously, since M.M. and her children did not have documents confirming their identity and allowing them to leave the country, M.M. was in a temporary detention facility for foreign citizens in Russia, and her six children were in the “Transit” children’s social shelter.
In order to prevent M.M. from being separated from her children for a long time, the Consulate General issued the necessary documents in a short time.
M.M. and her children were returned to their homeland via the “St. Petersburg – Samarkand” flight.
