On August 29, 12 minor children left without parental care in the Russian Federation were brought to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the National Agency for Social Protection.

This event was carried out with the support of the Representative for the Rights of the Child (Children's Ombudsman), in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health and the Agency's employees.

All children who arrived at the Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent were handed over to their close relatives in accordance with the established procedure. Their adaptation to the family environment, ensuring their rights and interests, and providing necessary social services will be continued by the "Inson" social service centers at their places of residence.

Earlier, the Migration Agency urged Uzbeks who face financial or other serious difficulties in returning home not to delay seeking help. According to the agency's press service, citizens who are unable to return to Uzbekistan due to difficult financial circumstances or other difficult circumstances while working in the Russian Federation may apply to the Migration Agency's representative office in Russia.

In July, an Uzbek woman and her four children who found themselves in a difficult life situation in St. Petersburg were repatriated.
