Two educators were awarded the title of "People's Teacher of the Republic of Uzbekistan"
On September 29, on the occasion of Teachers and Mentors Day, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on awarding a group of employees who have shown a special example in the education and training system. In accordance with it, honorary titles, orders, and medals were awarded to educators, scientists, mentors, and partners who have contributed to the development of the field.
Two educators awarded the title of "People's Teacher of the Republic of Uzbekistan"
Two educators have been awarded the title of People's Teacher. The honorary title of "People's Teacher of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was awarded to:
Ergash Allanazarovich Saidov — primary school teacher at School No. 6 in Denau district, Surxondaryo region;
Azimbay Saburovich Saparbayev — mathematics teacher at School No. 36 in Amudaryo district, Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The honorary title of "Honored Public Education Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was awarded to Kamil Shamukaramov, fine arts and drawing teacher at School No. 1 in Chinoz district, and Rahima Hakimova, primary school teacher at School No. 4 in the city of Namangan.
Ismatulla Raimov, chairman of the public council of School No. 1 in Zomin district, and Ahmadjon Soleyev, first vice-rector for academic affairs of Samarkand State University, were awarded the title of "Honored Youth Mentor of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
Scientists, sports, and culture representatives were also awarded
Mirtemir Qurbonov, deputy director for scientific affairs of the Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies of the Academy of Sciences, was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Inventor and Rationalizer of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
Botirbek Muqimov, physical education teacher at School No. 2 in Oltinkoʻl district, and Vohiddin Najmidinov, coach at the Republican Higher School of Sports Mastery in Winter and Complex Technical Sports, were awarded the title of "Honored Sports Coach of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
Gulnora Uteyeva, accompanist of the Uzbek folk instruments department of the R. Glier Republican Specialized Music School, was awarded the title of "Honored Culture Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
Foreign partners awarded the "Doʻstlik" (Friendship) Order
Among those awarded the "Doʻstlik" Order are Angela Papenburg, member of the board of directors of the German company GP Günter Papenburg AG, and Matthias Klingenberg, head of GIZ's project to support the reform and modernization of the vocational education system in Uzbekistan.
