Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded civil servants and production workers

In honor of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, the President awarded state awards to a group of civil servants, regional leaders, and industrial workers.

On August 22, 2026, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree awarding a number of civil servants, as well as workers in the production and socio-economic sectors. This was reported by the presidential press service. The awards are timed to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the decree, the awards were given for significant contributions to the successful implementation of large-scale reforms in the New Uzbekistan, ensuring sustainable economic growth, and improving the well-being of the population. They were also recognized for their contributions to strengthening the country's international prestige, implementing advanced innovative technologies, creating modern production facilities, accelerating the development of regional infrastructure, maintaining social stability, and patriotic education of youth.

The honorary title of "Honored Worker of Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was awarded to Otabek Mustakimov, Director of the Central Mining Department of JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant, and Gulomjon Turanov, a steelmaker in the electric steelmaking shop of JSC Uzbek Iron and Steel Works. The title of "Honored Builder of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was awarded to Bakhtiyor Akhmedov, Director of the Agrokvant construction and installation company in Jizzakh, and Sattarkhuzha Tokhtakhodjaev, a foreman at the Golden Ganj construction company in Tashkent. The title of "Honored Worker of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was awarded to Ulugbek Ishmakhamedov, a Boeing 787 instructor pilot for Uzbekistan Airways, and Takhir Baybulatov, an A-321 aircraft commander for the same company.

The El-Yurt Khurmati Order was awarded to Ibrahim Khamraev, CEO of the Mergantex cotton and textile cluster in the Bukhara region; Komila Karamova, head of the Kashkadarya branch of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment; Shukhrat Negmatov, chairman of the Samarkand regional branch of the Nuroniy Foundation; and the heads of the foundation's regional branches in the Surkhandarya and Khorezm regions.

The Order of "Fidokorona Khizmatlari Uchun" (Profound Religious Work) was awarded to Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan; Murotjon Azimov, Khokim of the Kashkadarya Region; Khairullo Bozarov, Khokim of the Fergana Region; Shavkat Umurzakov, Khokim of Tashkent; Gofurjon Mirzayev, Advisor to the President; and Abdullo Khursanov, Chairman of the Board of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant. Other recipients included Dilfuza Kushmatova, a crane operator at the rolling mill of Uzmetkombinat JSC, and Muzaffar Razakov, founder of Fergana Global Textile.

The Order of "Mehnat Shuhrati" (Mekhnat Shuhrati) was awarded to a large group of 22 individuals, including Shavkat Abdurazakov, Khokim of Namangan Region; Botir Zaripov, Khokim of Bukhara Region; Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan; Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies; Kuvandik Sanakulov, Chairman of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant; Senator Malika Kadirkhanova; and a number of employees in the mining, transport, and energy sectors from various regions of the country.

The Order of "Soglom Avlod Uchun" (Progressive Relief), 1st Class, was awarded to Atabay Madaminov, a public activist from Khorezm Region; Rashid Turaev, an activist from Samarkand Region; and Dinora Yakubova, Deputy Khokim of Namangan Region. The 2nd Class of the Order was awarded to Rakhmatullo Shokhimardonov, an activist from Surkhandarya Region.

Mir-Akbar Rakhmankulov, a statesman, public figure, and Honored Lawyer of Uzbekistan, was posthumously awarded the Order of Shon-Sharaf, 1st Class. The 2nd Class of the Order was awarded to Jalolitdin Okboev, khokim of the Gallyaral District of the Jizzakh Region.

A large group of over 60 people was awarded the Order of Dustlik. Among them were Tamila Aliyeva, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration; Komil Allamjonov, Advisor to the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration; Sherzod Asadov, Press Secretary of the President; Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade; Farrukh Pulatov, Chairman of the Tax Committee; and Dmitry Li, Chairman of the National Agency for Promising Projects. Bakhtiyorjon Salimjonov, khokim of the Chust District of the Namangan Region, and representatives of local governments, transport, and energy companies from across the country were also awarded.

The Order of Mardlik was awarded to Alisher Amirov, Deputy Khokim of the Surkhandarya Region; Fariddin Nasriev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Iran; and Jamshid Khudoyev, Khokim of the Jondor District of the Bukhara Region.

The Medal of Sodiq Khizmatlari Uchun (Prosperity and Relief) was awarded to 23 individuals, including senior officials of the Presidential Administration and the Cabinet of Ministers. Among them were Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of Medicine and Pharmaceuticals; Akhmad Suvonkulov, Chairman of JSC Uzsuvtaminot; and Sherzod Umarov, Deputy Representative of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Uzbekistan.

The "Soglom Turmush" (Profound Reconciliation) medal was awarded to Zarina Zokhidova, coordinator of the Early Development Center in the Taylak District of the Samarkand Region; Bonu Mamatova, director of the "Bonu Opa" educational center in Yangiyer; Tamara Muminova, an activist in the "Dustlik" (Dustlik) mahalla citizens' assembly in the Samarkand Region; and Nilufar Faziljanova, head of the department at the National Agency for Social Protection.

The "Kelajak Bunyodkori" (Profound Reconciliation) medal was awarded to Bobirjon Bakhtiyorov, a law student at Columbia University (USA) from the Samarkand Region; youth leaders of mahalla assemblies from the Kashkadarya, Karakalpakstan, and Tashkent regions; and Davron Egamov, founder of the IT company "Dyninno TAS International" from Tashkent.

More than 10 people were awarded the "Zhasorat" medal, including Mukarram Akbarova, a traditional doll maker from the Tashkent region, and individual seamstress entrepreneurs from the Namangan and Khorezm regions.

The "Shukhrat" medal was awarded to 14 individuals over 100 years of age from various regions of the country, including Zhangil Agzamova from the Tashkent region, Mukhtor Dadajonov from the Andijan region, and Umit Medetova from Karakalpakstan.

This medal was also awarded to a larger group—over 150 people—working in industry, agriculture, transportation, education, healthcare, local government, and government agencies from all regions of Uzbekistan. Among them are Samar Abdiev, director of the Asia Buxara Energy company from the Bukhara region, Ortik Abdukadirov, an electric gas welder at the zinc plant of JSC Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, Muzaffarbek Madrakhimov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and Atabek Ravshanov, chief engineer of JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine.
