Transfers from the US to HUMO and UZCARD cards have been launched.

Money transfers from the United States can now be sent directly to HUMO and UZCARD cards in Uzbekistan. The digital service, launched ahead of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, is primarily intended for Uzbek citizens living and working in the United States, according to Dunyo News Agency.

The service is based on the uPay.net fintech platform, developed in New York by Uzbek entrepreneurs Khusrav Makhmudov and Akmal Abdullaev. This platform was created to provide digital services to those who maintain financial and household ties with Uzbekistan.

Previously, uPay.net users could remotely pay for mobile phone service, internet, utilities, and other services in Uzbekistan. Now, the platform allows money transfers from the United States directly to HUMO and UZCARD cards.

All transactions are carried out digitally. According to the company, special attention was paid to compliance with US and Uzbek financial regulations, transaction security, and ease of use during the creation and launch of the service.

To support the new service, the necessary banking, technological, and compliance infrastructure was created, enabling transactions to be conducted in accordance with the requirements for financial services in both countries.

The project's initiators are also collaborating with the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York and compatriot organizations. This collaboration includes discussing the needs of the Uzbek diaspora in the US and the further development of digital services.

The launch of transfers from the US is the initial stage of the project. In the future, the developers plan to expand the geography of transfers, add new financial instruments, and develop digital services for people from Central Asian countries.
