Those who tried to take gold from Namangan to India were detained

They used their internal organs as "live containers" to hide gold worth 1.1 billion soums.

Those who tried to export gold from Namangan to India have been detained

In Namangan, the illegal export of gold worth 1.1 billion soums to India was prevented.

An operational event was conducted at Namangan Airport in cooperation with the staff of the State Security Service Department for Namangan Region and the regional Customs Administration.

During the event, 5 citizens residing in Andijan and Fergana regions, who were about to depart for India on the "Namangan – Delhi" route, underwent a special inspection.

As a result of the inspection, it was revealed that they used their internal organs as "live containers" to secretly smuggle abroad cast gold pieces with a total weight of 555 grams and 200 grams of jewelry.

According to preliminary calculations, the total estimated value of these precious metals is 1.1 billion soums. Currently, a pre-investigation inquiry into the case is underway.
