Trade leads all economic activities, with 164,481 registered enterprises and organizations.
The second-largest number of enterprises and organizations operates in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, with 131,925 registered enterprises and organizations. The industrial sector comprises 63,861 entities.
Among the accommodation and food services sector, 33,966 enterprises and organizations operate, while 33,163 operate in construction. The transportation and storage sector comprises 18,894 entities.
There are 15,341 enterprises and organizations operating in healthcare and social services. 13,705 entities are registered in the information and communications sector.
The remaining 125,940 enterprises and organizations are classified as other types of economic activity.
Thus, trade remains the largest sector in terms of the number of operating enterprises and organizations in Uzbekistan, surpassing agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and manufacturing.
