According to the statistics provided, the exact number of LLCs in the country was 351,586. Private enterprises constituted the second largest category of commercial organizations, accounting for 47,107, or 10.7% of the total.
Family-owned businesses accounted for 37,192 units, or 8.5% of the total.
Joint-stock companies represented 644 organizations, accounting for 0.1%. The remaining 3,611 commercial organizations, or 0.8%, were other legal entities.
Thus, limited liability companies continue to dominate as the most common legal form among commercial organizations in Uzbekistan.
