The number of tour operators in Uzbekistan increased by 24.3%.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — According to the National Statistics Committee, as of July 1, 2026, there were 3,455 tour operators, travel agents, and other businesses operating in the tourism sector in Uzbekistan.

This represents an increase of 676 entities, or 24.3%, compared to the same period last year.

These statistics show a steady growth in the number of participants in the tourism industry. In 2022, there were 1,918 of them, in 2023 – 2,071, in 2024 – 2,585, and in 2025 – 2,779.

Thus, from July 1, 2022, to July 1, 2026, the number of active tourism industry entities increased by 1,537, rising from 1,918 to 3,455.

The most significant increase over this period was observed in 2026, when the number of entities increased by 676 compared to July 2025.
