The press service of the Department of Preschool and School Education of Samarkand Region has issued an official response regarding the videos circulating on social networks showing a teacher beating a schoolgirl in front of her classmates.

It was reported that this incident occurred on October 23 during a physics class in the 8th "G" grade at Secondary School No. 18 in Jomboy district.

Currently, this situation is being investigated jointly by a working group of the regional Department of Preschool and School Education and representatives of law enforcement agencies.

According to the official response, additional and detailed information will be provided based on the results of the investigation.
