A mathematics teacher slapped a student in the face during a class at a school in Akhangaran district. A recording of the incident spread on social media. The regional department of preschool and school education commented on the event.

According to the department, the incident occurred on October 21 during a math class at school No. 15 in Akhangaran district. The situation was taken under control on the same day. An investigation is currently underway with the participation of internal affairs officers and other agencies.

Based on the results of the preliminary investigation, it was established that during a lesson in the 7th "A" grade, the teacher struck one of the students in the face several times. Information that she had previously engaged in rough treatment of this student is also being checked. A legal assessment will be given to the actions of all participants in the conflict.

Earlier, a video appeared on social media showing a teacher striking a child in the face several times during a lesson. That incident occurred in Namangan region; the regional department of preschool and school education also launched an internal investigation.
