The most popular universities among applicants in Uzbekistan have been revealed.

The most popular higher education institutions and educational programs among applicants in Uzbekistan for the 2026 admissions process have been announced. The competition was led by Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbek State University of World Languages, and Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan.

The most popular higher education institutions among applicants in Uzbekistan have been identified. According to the data provided by the Ministry, this year three universities were chosen by applicants the most.

This list is led by Tashkent State University of Economics (TSU), Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzDZTU) and Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan (UzNU).

The areas of study that applicants are most interested in were also announced. Among them, the areas of "Medical work", "Economics" and "Philology and language teaching: English" stand out.

According to the results of this year's admission, the average passing score for admission to study on a state grant basis was 134.6 points. The average passing score for admission to study on a paid-contract basis was 93.7 points.
