The most hacked country in the world has been identified

The world's most cyber-attacked country has been revealed
Israel led the world in the number of recorded DDoS hacker attacks in the first half of 2026. Nearly 17 percent of all recorded attacks targeted this country. Government structures remained the main target for hackers, with 37.2 percent of attacks directed at these institutions.
According to Radware, hacker activity worldwide was directly linked to geopolitical conflicts. In March 2026, following reports of military clashes in the Middle East, the number of attacks more than doubled compared to February.
In the first six months of 2026, the number of DDoS attacks on web services increased by 110.6 percent compared to the same period in 2025. If the current pace continues, their number could increase by approximately 166 percent by the end of the year.
At the same time, the number of malicious requests to web applications and APIs more than doubled. According to the data, 80 percent of vulnerabilities were exploited before their official CVE identifiers were published. The authors of the report partially attributed the acceleration of cyberattacks to the development of artificial intelligence. This allows for faster detection of vulnerabilities and the automation of attackers' actions.
