The Ministry of Emergency Situations has completed the search operation to locate three people who drowned in the Charvak reservoir. The father's body has been found. Video

The search for three members of the same family who drowned on September 2 in the Charvak reservoir has concluded. Today, divers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations discovered the body of their father. Earlier, rescuers had found the bodies of both sons.

This information was confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

As a reminder, the tragedy occurred on September 2 during a family boat trip. One of the men decided to go for a swim in an unauthorized area and entered the water without a life jacket. When he began to drown, his father and older brother rushed to his aid. As a result, all three drowned.

The body of the younger son was the first to be discovered by divers on September 9. The following day, September 10, the body of his older brother was found. At 13:35, divers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations located the body of the last victim. Thus, the search operation has been completed.

Additional forces and resources from the emergency situations departments of the Jizzakh and Sirdaryo regions, as well as modern search equipment, were involved in the search. Despite the large area and significant depth of the reservoir, rescuers managed to locate all three victims.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has once again urged citizens to observe safety rules on water bodies and to use life jackets when riding on watercraft.
