The body of one of the father and sons who drowned in Charvak has been found

The body of one of the three citizens who drowned in the Charvak reservoir has been identified.

On September 2, in the water area of the Charvak reservoir in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region, a father and his two sons went out for a boat ride, then entered an area where swimming is prohibited, and went into the water without life jackets and drowned.

Upon receiving the report, rescuers and divers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene and began search operations. Taking into account the wide scope of the search and the depth of the reservoir, by order of the Minister of Emergency Situations, a headquarters was established at the scene, and additional forces from the Emergency Situations Departments of the Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions were additionally involved.

"They did not use life jackets while swimming. As a result, the father and his two sons experienced cramps while swimming. That is, there was wind there, and a slight wave formed in the water. The drowning occurred during that process," said Rustam Buriev, commander of the rescue squad.

As a result of the conducted searches, the body of one of the drowned citizens was found on September 9 at 13:02. According to the ministry, search operations are continuing using all necessary machinery and modern equipment.
