The limit for cash payments for goods and services in Uzbekistan will be increased to 176 million soums
The maximum amount of cash payments in Uzbekistan will be increased to 176 million soums. Currently, a limit of 25 million soums is in force for "expensive" goods and services. Exceptions will remain only for categories that are paid in cashless form, including cars, housing, alcohol, tobacco and fuel.
The upper limit for cash payments for goods and services in Uzbekistan will be increased to 176 million soums. This change was established in the Presidential Decree on the implementation of the tasks of the 6th open dialogue with entrepreneurs held on August 27.
The document approved the proposals of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, as well as the Agency for Industrial Cooperation and State Procurement. Among these proposals is the establishment of the maximum amount of cash payments for goods and services at 400 BHM (176 million soums). Recall that from April 1, the maximum value of goods and services that can be paid for in cash was 25 million soums.
Thus, the new limit is increased by more than seven times. However, this restriction does not apply to goods and services that are stipulated by law to be paid only in non-cash form.
