The largest number of foreign enterprises in Uzbekistan belongs to China — statistics

According to the National Statistics Committee, as of September 1, 2026, there are 21,490 enterprises and organizations with foreign investment operating in Uzbekistan.

Of these, 4,758 are joint ventures, and 16,732 are foreign enterprises.

Over the last five years, the total number of operating enterprises with foreign investment has increased by 1.7 times. At the same time, the share of foreign enterprises in the total structure has increased from 56.2 percent to 77.9 percent.
