The Mercure hotel has begun operations in Khiva, Khorezm region, becoming the first international hotel brand in the region. A total of $26 million was directed towards the construction of the hotel, creating 200 new jobs.

The hotel is designed for 145 rooms and can accommodate up to 300 guests simultaneously. During the construction of the facility, a combination of national and modern styles was used to ensure it matches the atmosphere of historical Khiva.

The opening of the hotel expands the hotel infrastructure of the Khorezm region and creates additional opportunities for receiving tourists. It is expected that the arrival of an international brand will contribute to the further development of the tourism potential of the Khorezm oasis.
