Congress Hall and "Khiva Ichan Qala" Reception House Opened in Khiva
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the newly built Congress Hall, three-star hotel, and the Khiva Ichan Qala reception house in the city of Khiva.

The Congress Hall and the "Khiva Ichan Qal'a" reception house were opened in Khiva.
These facilities were built on the basis of the relevant document of the head of state dated April 30, 2026. As a result of their commissioning, it is planned to create about 2 thousand new jobs, provide hotel services to 50 thousand tourists per year, and increase the export of services to $ 4 million.
The Congress Hall, built in a combination of modern premium style and elements of Khorezm national architecture, is intended for holding international conferences, business conferences, intergovernmental negotiations and cultural forums. 857 billion soums of budget funds were allocated for the construction of the complex with a total area of 1.9 hectares. Extensive green areas and avenues were created around it, and landscaping work was carried out within the framework of the national project "Green Space".
In order to create comfortable conditions for participants of international conferences and tourists, a three-star hotel was built in the area adjacent to the congress hall. The project, worth 169 billion soums and covering a total area of 1.6 hectares, created 60 new jobs. The four-story hotel has 156 rooms for 310 people, a spacious lobby, reception, restaurant-bar, children's room and terrace. A wellness zone has also been created, consisting of an indoor swimming pool, fitness and wellness areas.
The head of state also inspected the "Khiva Ichan Qala" reception house. This complex, covering a total area of 2 hectares, is intended for holding official events and receiving foreign delegations. The project cost is 260 billion soums. The architecture of the building widely uses majestic wooden carved columns, ganchkor art, and blue and turquoise tiles typical of Khorezm. Photo exhibitions and national crafts workshops reflecting the rich history of the oasis have been organized around the Reception House.
Here, the Head of State had a cordial conversation with representatives of the Khorezm region community. The conversation focused on the huge changes taking place in the oasis in recent years, the renewal of people's lifestyles and thinking. It was noted that the spirit of creativity, progress and renewal of New Uzbekistan is increasingly evident on the land of ancient Khorezm. It was noted that work will be consistently continued to transform the region into a modern, prosperous and prosperous region, while preserving its rich history and traditions.
The President gave instructions on the effective use of these complexes, the increase in large-scale international events in Khiva, the improvement of the quality of services provided to tourists, and the creation of new jobs.
