The appeals note cases such as flights being delayed for several hours, passengers not being provided with accurate information in a timely manner, poor quality of service, and charges being levied for services not rendered. In some cases, passengers were not offered compensation or alternative solutions for flights delayed due to the carrier's fault. This is seriously affecting citizens' time, funds, and plans.

The Committee is studying the cases of compensation payments to passengers when domestic flights are delayed due to the carrier's fault, as well as compliance with consumer rights, based on open sources.

The Competition Committee is requesting airlines to fully provide information on their digital platforms and bring it into compliance with the legislation, and is asking citizens to submit their proposals and objections regarding this sector.
