The 1,200,000th passenger to use the Tashkent metro was awarded a one-year free transport card
On September 28, the Tashkent Metro served a record number of passengers in a single day — 1,200,124 people. On that day, the 1.2 millionth passenger to use the metro was presented with a special card allowing free use of public transport for a year, along with a souvenir.

On September 28, for the first time in the history of the Tashkent Metro, more than 1.2 million passengers were served in a single day. On that day, a total of 1,200,124 passengers used the metro, it was reported.
In connection with this result, a special event was held with the participation of metro officials to identify the 1,200,000th passenger. During the event, the passenger who recorded this milestone was presented with a souvenir on behalf of the metro team, as well as a special transport payment card allowing free use of public transport for one year.
The metro administration noted that the recorded result testifies to the growing trust and demand of residents and guests of Tashkent city for metro services.
As a reminder, on September 15, a record was also set for the number of passengers on Tashkent buses.
On that day, buses carried 1,520,113 passengers.
