Tashkent metro broke its record for the second time in a week
On September 21, 1,181,581 passengers used the services of the Tashkent Metro. This is 16,031 more than the previous record recorded on September 14.

Another record has been recorded for the number of passengers transported in a single day on the Tashkent Metro. On September 21, a total of 1,181,581 passengers used the metro services.
The previous highest figure was recorded on September 14, 2026. On that day, the Tashkent Metro served 1,165,550 passengers.
The new result was 16,031 passengers higher than the previous record.
Monitoring and analysis conducted by metro specialists show that the passenger flow continues to grow.
According to available data, the number of daily passengers using the metro is expected to reach 1.2 million in October.
In this regard, the Tashkent Metro plans to identify the 1,200,000th passenger and present them with a special privilege or gift.
This initiative is intended to be held as a symbolic event aimed at encouraging passengers.
Additionally, all 14 modern train sets planned for purchase in 2026 have been delivered to the Tashkent Metro.
The new trains are being used to provide comfortable and fast service to passengers, as well as to adapt the movement to the growing passenger flow.
