Tashkent Police Department urges students to use public transport

Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department encourages students to use public transport.

September 2 - Classes will begin in schools and other educational institutions in Tashkent on the occasion of Knowledge Day.

Therefore, in the morning hours, there will be a significant increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic around educational institutions, and traffic jams may occur on some streets.

The Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital recommended that citizens use public transport whenever possible to prevent traffic jams and ensure the safe arrival of students to educational institutions.

It was also requested not to park cars in an irregular or long-term manner around schools and higher educational institutions, to comply with traffic rules, and to give way to pedestrians and students.

According to the Internal Affairs Department, employees of internal affairs bodies will provide services around educational institutions to ensure security, prevent traffic jams, and assist citizens.

We would like to remind you that the educational process in academic lyceums and technical schools will begin on September 2. In higher education institutions, it will begin on September 7 for 1st-year students, and on September 14 for 2nd-year and higher students.
