Tashkent has the largest number of registered artisans.

As of July 1, 2026, there were 23,163 active artisans in Uzbekistan. The largest number is registered in Tashkent.

According to the National Statistics Committee, as of July 1, 2026, there were 23,163 active artisans in Uzbekistan. Tashkent led the country in terms of the number of registered artisans, with 2,987.

The Fergana Region ranks second in terms of the number of active artisans, with 2,743 registered artisans. It is followed by the Samarkand Region with 2,209 artisans, the Andijan Region with 2,113, and the Namangan Region with 2,048.

The Khorezm Region has 1,919 artisans, the Tashkent Region with 1,830, and the Kashkadarya Region with 1,547. The Bukhara Region has 1,530 active artisans.

There are 1,170 registered artisans in the Surkhandarya region, 1,121 in Karakalpakstan, and 1,032 in the Jizzakh region.

The smallest number of active artisans is found in the Syrdarya region (462) and Navoi region (452).

Thus, Tashkent leads in the number of artisans, while Navoi region has the fewest.
