"Suspicious individuals" detained on the Qamchiq Pass: details

Individuals carrying drugs have been detained on the Qamchiq Pass. This was reported by the Road Safety Service.

On September 19, 2026, at the "Namangan" road patrol service post, officers of the RSS road patrol service detachment for the "Qamchiq" pass stopped a "Nexia-2" vehicle traveling in the "Valley–Tashkent" direction.

During the inspection, the behavior of N.U., born in 2004, who was a passenger in the car, aroused suspicion among the officers.

As a result of the search conducted in the presence of impartial observers and witnesses, substances wrapped in cellophane resembling the brown, sharp-smelling drug "hashish" and a white powdery substance resembling "mephedrone" were found in N.U.'s oral cavity.

This situation was documented in accordance with the established procedure, and the identified substances, along with the citizens who were in the vehicle, were handed over to the Pop District Department of Internal Affairs.
