Three individuals selling narcotics were detained in Fergana and Namangan

The State Security Service exposed the illicit trafficking of narcotics in Fergana and Namangan.

It is reported that officers of the SSS Department for Fergana Region, in cooperation with Internal Affairs and Customs authorities, conducted operational measures against the illicit trafficking of narcotics in the city of Kokand.

In particular, during a search of the residence of a previously convicted 44-year-old citizen in the presence of impartial witnesses, 782 units of the potent drug "Tropicamide" were found in his basement.

In another case, 758 grams of hashish, 6 knives with drug residues, and 4 electronic scales were found in the residence of a person born in 1975, and they were seized in accordance with the established procedure.

In an operational measure conducted by officers of the SSS Department for Namangan Region, involving Internal Affairs and Customs authorities, a Lacetti vehicle traveling on the Fergana—Namangan route was stopped and searched in the Namangan district. During the search, 465 grams of hashish were seized as material evidence from the cabin of the car driven by a person born in 1998.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated regarding all cases, and investigative actions are underway.
