A person carrying 5.6 kg of hashish was detained in Fergana

Officers of the SSS Department for Fergana Region, in cooperation with the regional customs and internal affairs departments, conducted an operational operation against drug smuggling.

During the operation, it was established that a person born in 1994, having retrieved drugs smuggled from Kyrgyzstan by drug couriers and left in a hiding place, was traveling to the city of Fergana in a Cobalt car.

He disobeyed the officers' lawful demand to stop, threw a utility sack from his car to the roadside, and was detained while attempting to flee the scene. When the sack was inspected in the presence of impartial witnesses, a substance resembling hashish with a total weight of 5.6 kg, consisting of five packages in total, was found inside.

Regarding the situation, a criminal case has been initiated against this individual under Article 28 through Article 246, Part 2, and Article 273, Part 6, Paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code. A preventive measure of detention has been applied against him. Currently, measures are being taken within the framework of the investigation to identify his accomplices.
