During operational events conducted in Andijan and Fergana regions, individuals storing prohibited substances were identified. This was reported by the State Security Service.

During an operational event conducted in Buloqboshi district, a Nexia vehicle traveling in the area was stopped and inspected. 470 grams of hashish were found on two local citizens (born in 1978 and 1985) who were traveling as passengers in the car. During the investigation, it was established that this prohibited substance had been smuggled from a neighboring country.

In a similar event conducted in Fergana region, the residence of a citizen born in 1968, living in Fergana district, was inspected in the presence of impartial witnesses. As a result, 482 grams of dried poppy straw stored at this address was documented and seized as material evidence.
