Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Turkmenistan
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan on October 7–9. He will participate in the eighth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, as well as the CIS summit, in the "Avaza" national tourist zone.

According to the information provided by the President's press service, the visit will take place at the invitation of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The consultative meeting will discuss issues of strengthening political and diplomatic cooperation, deepening trade and economic ties, and expanding partnership in the energy sector.
Joint measures on environmental protection, adaptation to climate change, and the development of relations in culture, education, science, and between youth are also on the agenda.
The heads of state will also exchange views on regional and international issues, as well as priority tasks related to ensuring peace, stability, and security.
At the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State, the results of multilateral cooperation within the Commonwealth will be summarized, and prospects for its development will be reviewed. Special attention will be paid to celebrating the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the CIS.
At the conclusion of the events, the adoption of a package of joint documents is envisaged. A number of bilateral meetings are also planned during the visit.
