President of Uzbekistan will visit the Republic of Korea on September 13–16 with a state visit

The President of Uzbekistan will pay a state visit to the Republic of Korea on September 13–16. He will hold talks with the country's leadership, as well as representatives of Korean companies and financial institutions. The first "Central Asia – Republic of Korea" summit will also take place in Seoul.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to the Republic of Korea on September 13–16.

In Seoul, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold talks with President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae-myung, Speaker of the National Assembly Cho Jung-sik, Prime Minister Han Sung-sook, as well as with heads of Korean companies and financial institutions.

During the talks, it is planned to consider issues of expanding Uzbek-Korean relations, deepening cooperation in priority areas, as well as intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

The President of Uzbekistan will also participate in the first "Central Asia — Republic of Korea" summit. It will discuss prospects for cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, infrastructure, digital transformation, science, technology, and many others. Following the summit, the adoption of the Seoul Declaration is expected.
