Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Serbia on September 7–8

At the invitation of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to this country on September 7–8.

According to the program of the visit, high-level negotiations and a business forum with the participation of officials and business representatives of the two countries will be organized in Belgrade.

The agenda of the upcoming meetings includes issues of further strengthening the Uzbekistan—Serbia multifaceted partnership.

Special attention will be paid to expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as implementing joint projects in priority areas such as transport, mechanical engineering, light and food industries, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and information technologies.

Issues of establishing cooperation in the field of organized labor migration, and expanding interregional, cultural, and humanitarian ties will also be discussed.

At the conclusion of the summit, a significant package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements is planned to be adopted.
